If your brakes require service, you’ve come to the right place. We have a certified brake technician who performs or oversees every Brake Repair. They’ll make sure that your brakes are serviced in accordance with your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations, including all replacement parts like pads, hardware and if necessary drums and/or rotors.

Your Mack Lube® Technician can tell you whether a brake fluid exchange is due for your vehicle, based on your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. If it is, the technician will remove the old fluid and replace it with new fluid that meets or exceeds your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.

Brake : Inspection

Brake problems often start out little but can become increasingly bigger and more costly. Mack Lube® technicians can detect most brake problems big or small. They start by inspecting all major brake components: discs, brake pads and shoes and brake lines. After a thorough inspection, they can make brake repair suggestions based on wear and your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.

During a brake inspection, pads will be measured by a Mack Lube® technician. Brake Service replacement is recommended based on the results of a complete brake inspection using vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations for disc pad/drum shoe minimum thickness and actual measurements.

Each disc is inspected for rough spots, warping or damage. Discs should be shiny and show little signs of wear. Discs that are damaged or warped should be resurfaced or replaced immediately.

Brake : Fluid Exchange

When you step on the brake pedal, hydraulic fluid rushes to each brake to apply the pressure that slows your vehicle. Over time the fluid can become compromised by moisture and other contaminants and brake performance can suffer. Your Mack Lube® Technician will inspect your car and tell you whether a brake fluid exchange is called for. If it is, the technician will remove the old fluid and replace it with new fluid that meets or exceeds your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
